Charity Game FAQs

We are receiving a lot of e-mails with the same questions regarding the charity game. So we figured we would post a FAQs section for you guys to refer to quickly to get the information you need.

Where can I get tickets?
Tickets for the 5th Annual James Lafferty/One Tree Hill Charity Basketball Game are SOLD OUT. So unfortunately... there is no way to get tickets.

I am so mad the event sold out. What are you going to do to help me?
OTHfans.com only promotes the event. We do not run the event. We do not sell the tickets. We only promote it. So unfortunately... there is nothing we can do to help you.

I have already booked and paid for travel and hotel. It's not fair that I was unable to buy tickets!
OTHfans.com, the cast and crew of OTH, the event organizers, and the YMCA are not responsible for people not being able to get tickets.

But... I know you have the hookups. Can you please get me tickets to the game?
Almost every person that did not get tickets is asking this question to us. Unfortunately... we don't have the hook-up like that. As said above... OTHfans.com only promotes the event. We do not run the event. We do not sell the tickets. We only promote it.

Can I still attend the autograph session without a ticket?
You will need to be a ticket holder in order to go to the autograph session.

I need wheelchair accessible seating... how do I request that?
Wheelchair accessible seating will be set up when you pick up your tickets at the Will Call booth.

What is will call?
Will Call is the area where you will pick up your tickets and wristband. It will be set up outside at the game. You will need to bring a photo ID to pick up your tickets.

Do I need a photo ID to pick up the tickets?
Yes, a photo ID is required in order to pick up the tickets along with your confirmation.

What if the person that purchased the tickets will not be attending the game?
You must bring a COPY of their photo ID.

Will I get a confirmation email?
You should... however some mail servers considered the message SPAM and filtered it out. The information in the email is exactly the same as the print out confirmation as your order. As long as you have that, you will be fine. The YMCA said that if you are going to receive a confirmation email, it could take up to 5 days after your purchase.

Can I bring a camera?
Yes. You can bring a camera. However, they do ask that you do not take pictures WITH THE FLASH during the game. This can harm the ability for the players to see and they could get hurt.

Can I take pictures with the cast at the autograph session?
That varies each year. The rules about taking picutres will be announced at the game.

Will I get to meet the entire cast?
You will get to meet whatever cast members are there at the time you arrive at the autograph tables. The cast members that attend the game are not required to stay and can leave when they feel they are ready. Most of the cast usually stays for the most if not all of the autograph session.

How long is the autograph session?
There is no set time. Most of the cast will probably stay until the last person has gone through the line.

Can you offer any tips on where to stay?
There are a lot of places to stay in Wilmington. Most of the hotels you will find are within a 15 minute drive from the venue. It just all depends on what is available and what your price range is.

Will they be filming the week of the event?
I am pretty sure they WILL be filming. However, they do not set the production schedule until the week before they film. Also, they do not publicly release the locations or times they will be filming. Best thing is... just drive to the filming locations and hope they are at one of them.

We have a list of filming locations located here! These are all current locations that we were made aware of. They include the most common areas of filming.
