Michaela McManus in a New CW Role

One Tree Hill alum Michaela McManus will soon be seen in a new role on the CW. According to several sources, she has landed the female lead in the CW's pilot of Nomads.

The show is based on a group of backpackers who earn extra money by running secret missions for the CIA. McManus will play a brave army brat who is determined to win a place in the CIA. Her character will find herself fighting attractions to her handler and a fellow agent-in-training.

After being Lucas Scott's love interest Lindsey Strauss on One Tree Hill, McManus was seen in a year-long role on NBC's Law & Order: SVU.
