SOAPNet Going Off-AirSOAPNet has announced on their website that they will be going off the air in January 2012, leaving eighteen months remaining for the channel established over ten years ago. What's this mean for the shows streamed? Well, the announcement establishes that all true soaps will continue, airing on ABC and abc.com. However, encore presentations of hit shows such as One Tree Hill and Beverly Hills, 90210 will be discontinued, as the channel will be turned into a toddler friendly version of Disney.
